Hi, I’m Taylor Singmaster Shepard, aka The California Cowgirl!

I pull from my success as an AQHA, NSBA and NCAA equestrian competitor and passion for creativity to help others through my Equine Facilitated Wellness lesson program and The California Cowgirl Company.  As a PATH Certified Therapeutic riding instructor, I’ve worked with clients of varying mental, physical and emotional abilities at prestigious centers such as BOK Ranch in Woodside, CA.  With a profound respect for the healing power of horses, I’ve found a special focus in working with combat veterans (partnering with Heroes and Horses) and children experiencing difficult situations and life transitions.  I reentered the college athletic sphere when I began coaching for the Stanford Equestrian Team, where I coached riders into post-season competition.
